This incredible vintage brooch depicts an elegant swan in flight. It sparkles with an estimated 2.50ct of diamond encrusted along the head and neck, with a larger 0.10ct old cut stone held in the beak next to a red ruby eye.
A large baroque pearl is also set in the swan’s stomach and represents a large egg. Baroque Pearls have a wonderful lustre with a rich creamy tone and unique for their irregular non-spherical shape which are formed in freshwater mussels or saltwater Oysters.
The brooch is modelled in solid 18ct white/ yellow gold with stunning workmanship across each individual feather of the swan’s wings and body. It’s finished with a strong pin at the back complete with safety catch.
It is a truly stunning, highly collectable brooch and one to be treasured.
We recommend you insure for £3,250. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
